Hide Images From Gallery Without Any Android Apps [VIDEO]

You will definitely love to maintain privacy with your photo gallery in smartphones right? Above all, gallery privacy means a lot for all teenagers. And you might even wonder to hide your photos from gallery without any Android apps as well. In this blog post, I'm gonna share a trick to hide your photos from your photo gallery without using any apps for app lock.
You shall often lend your smartphone to someone (among your relatives or friends). You might even hope that they don't look through your photo gallery. If you don't have any kind of app lock or photo vaults, you no longer need to worry. Here, I present two main ways to hide your pictures from exploring eyes:
(Note; For my easiness, I’m using ES File Explorer and I recommend you as well)
FIRST OPTION: Manual File Management
1. Open the "File Manager".
2. Gather all the photos which you should hide into a single new folder. In my case, I've gathered and moved all the photos into a folder named "vault".
3. Rename the created new folder beginning with “.” In my case, I've renamed the folder name “vault” into “.vault”.
On adding “.” in the beginning of any file name or folder will make it hidden automatically. Now, the photos will no longer be shown in the default Gallery app nor any other picture viewer, just the file manager. You will need to remember where you have kept them, and you should note that they will not be protected by a password, as they would be if you'd used a photo-hiding app.
SECOND OPTION: Remove Extension
Similar to the first option, in this option also you need to follow the same steps 1 & 2 as in FIRST OPTION. After you’ve moved the photos into a new folder,
1. Open the same folder.
2. Select all images.
3. Try to rename all the images at once.
4. Remove the extension file “.jpg” OR “.png” while renaming.
Doing this, your filename looks something like this “IMG001” if the image file name was “IMG001.jpg”. In this way, the photo will no longer be shown in the default Gallery app nor any other picture viewer.
